This Privacy Policy explains how Peekspective ("we," "us," "our") handles information in connection with our products, including PeekLens Lite. This policy applies across our product line unless a specific product has its own supplementary privacy notice, in which case that notice takes precedence for that product.

1. Our General Approach to Privacy

Peekspective builds tools for trade, logistics, customs, transport, and integration professionals. We design our products with privacy as a foundational principle, favoring offline, on-device processing wherever possible so that your data stays in your control.

2. PeekLens Lite

2.1 No Data Collection

PeekLens Lite is an offline-only application. It does not connect to the internet, does not transmit any data off your device, and does not collect, store, or share any personal information, usage data, analytics, or diagnostic data with Peekspective or any third party.

Specifically, PeekLens Lite:

• Does not require an account, sign-in, or registration
• Does not use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs
• Does not use crash-reporting tools that transmit data externally
• Does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or other sensitive device permissions
• Does not share any information with third parties, because none is collected

2.2 Data You Create Within the App

Any EDIFACT messages, files, or content you import, paste, or create within PeekLens Lite are processed and stored locally on your device only. This data is never transmitted to Peekspective or any external server. You retain full control over this data and can delete it at any time by removing it within the app or uninstalling the app.

2.3 Third-Party Directory Data

PeekLens Lite includes a bundled, offline copy of publicly available UN/EDIFACT directory data (syntax rules, segments, and message structures) used for educational and syntax-checking purposes. This is reference data bundled with the app; it is not personal data and does not involve any data collection from you.

3. Reserved for Additional Peekspective Products

This section will be updated with product-specific privacy practices as additional Peekspective products (e.g. PeekLens Studio) are added. Where a product's data practices differ materially from Section 2, a dedicated subsection or standalone notice will apply.

4. Children's Privacy

Our products are intended for professional use by trade, logistics, customs, transport, and integration professionals, and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

5. Your Rights

Because PeekLens Lite does not collect any personal data, there is no data held by Peekspective to access, correct, or delete in connection with your use of the app. If this changes for any future Peekspective product, that product's applicable section or notice will describe how to exercise your data rights (access, correction, deletion, and portability, where applicable under laws such as the EU GDPR or Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act).

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of our products after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
